After a long time of use, LED displays are going into a period when various problems occur frequently. For example, part or half of a display is not working. How to solve those problems? Here are some solutions to those problems.

According to our experiences in this line, main reasons for the incomplete display of LED displays are as follows:

1. Half of the LED display screen does not work

This is a bit more likely to happen. It may result from no power supply or damage of control card. Check if the power supply is working, if does, then uses the control card software to detect whether the control card is working properly.

2. Single or a few LED modules do not work

Generally, the connector of LED module comes loose or disconnected. For example, only the upper half or the lower part of an LED display is inoperative, usually it can be solved by pulling out the connector and reconnecting it in the case of such a situation.

The 245 chip of an LED module is damaged, which can cause inoperation of the LED display module. And it could be caused by the fact that there is no power supply for the LED display.

3. Displaying blurry picture

Generally, it is caused by insufficient power supply. It is suggested that the power supply should be replaced.

If you want to repair it on your own, you should pay attention to the installation position and maintenance mode of the LED display. If it's a front-maintenance LED display, you can take out the modules one by one and maintain them. If it is a back-maintenance one, the rear cover can be opened for maintenance.
